Wilfried Nancy declared he was not afraid of the sack, maintaining, “We are very near to things turning around,” despite moving dangerously close to the exit with a heavy setback against the Ibrox side.

Nancy’s Persistent Belief
He continues to cling to the fact his team show good levels for a half at a time. For instance, if not for poor finishing they would have been more than 1-0 up. “There were positives except the fact that we missed more goals,” he said. “I acknowledge that we lost, but it's important to stay balanced.
“The performance we had at times was exceptionally high. That happened. I could not say that if it was different. That is the reason, in terms of results, I noted this is the same story. Which is why I said that we are really close to a shift in fortunes. But for the moment: details, details, details.”
“I saw a lot of encouraging signs that we did, once more. The issue now is consistency. My narrative would not be the same. Therefore I am convinced we’re going to be able to turn things around.”
Opposition Reaction Outlook
Danny Röhl played down talk of a championship push in spite of what appeared to be a statement victory. “One match at a time, then we can gradually build momentum,” he said. “The faith in the squad is immense.”
