Former Physician Charged with Sexual Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Patients

Legal authorities have stated that a ex- doctor stands accused of performing sexual assaults against 38 victims who were under his care.

Details of the Grave Allegations

Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of acts of sexual assault – some of which involve some against children younger than 13 – between 2017 and 2021.

A senior prosecutor said, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a detailed and complex investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to establish that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”

The Police Inquiry

These allegations follow what police described as a “complex investigation” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.

The defendant is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.
