The House Oversight Committee has published a batch of roughly 70 photographs secured from the holdings of late found guilty individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third release from a tranche of over 95,000 photographs the committee has secured from Epstein's holdings. It contains photographs of quotes from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and censored photos of female overseas passports.

This disclosure comes just hours before the 19 December deadline for the Department of Justice to disclose each records related to its investigation into Epstein.

"These new images pose more inquiries about exactly what the Justice Department has in its custody," said the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

These are the latest high-net-worth, influential men to be seen in Epstein's estate photographs disclosed by the oversight panel - formerly released images also include US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, ex- US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Being pictured in the photos is is not considered proof of any misconduct, and several of the pictured men have stated they were not implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a statement accompanying the image publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate's representatives did not supply context or timings for the pictures.

"Images were chosen to furnish the public with clarity into a typical cross-section of the photos acquired from the holdings, and to offer understanding into Epstein's network and his profoundly disturbing behavior," the release reads.

The publication also contains several images of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in ink across different parts of a woman's body, like her upper body, foot, hip, and back. Lolita narrates the tale of a young girl who was groomed by a older literature professor.

An example of a quote from the book written across a woman's torso reads, "Lolita: the end of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a number of photos of female travel documents and official papers from countries globally, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the information on the papers, such as names and birth dates, is redacted but the panel stated in a press release that the passports pertain to "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were involved with".

Another photo depicts Epstein seated at a table in close proximity surrounded by three women whose identities have been censored - one has her hand on Epstein's torso under his garment, and a second is leaning to view a adjacent device. Epstein seems to be aiding the final person put on a wristband.

A further photograph made public is a screenshot of SMS messages from an unidentified sender who claims they have been supplied "several females" and are asking for "$$1,000 per female".

Image Disclosure Arrives Ahead of DOJ Due Date

The committee has thousands of images in its custody from the Epstein estate, which are "both disturbing and ordinary," its statement on recently explained.

The Congressional committee first subpoenaed the holdings of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on accusations of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The images and files the Epstein estate's representatives submitted to the body are distinct from what is commonly termed "the Epstein files". Those files are documents in the justice department's control connected to its separate investigation into Epstein.

In accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President enacted recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to disclose its documents. The full nature of the contents contained in the DOJ's records is unknown, and it's expected that a large amount of the content will be extensively obscured, comparable to House Oversight Committee materials
